OIT has partnered with the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences (CALS) to develop multi-step plans to enhance existing internet connectivity and to lay the groundwork for fiber-ready connectivity at the college’s test farms and fields.
To ready the research sites’ infrastructure, OIT has provided technical expertise and supervision to conduct surveys and to prepare estimates to create a fiber internet connection to efficiently transmit and receive the data needed to perform research at these sites.
